Pre-School Soccer: Pre-School Soccer Players, (ages 4 and 5), will learn the basics of soccer through instruction and mini games, along with teamwork, sportsmanship, and making new friends along the way! The league runs for four Saturdays mid-September through mid-October. All games will be played at the Maple Street Park. Schedules will be posted each season.
Youth Soccer: Youth Fall Soccer is for boys and girls in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. Players are divided into leagues by grade: grades K – 1, grades 2 – 3, and grades 4 – 5. Players learn kicking, trapping, passing, throw-in skills, and sportsmanship through fun games and practices.
Sign up begins mid-August. The league runs for six weeks in September – October on Saturday mornings. Game times vary by grade. Games for grades K – 3 are held on Doyle Field, while games for grades 4 – 5 are held at the Maple Street Park. Schedules will be posted each season.

After School Program – Like No Other!
The After School Program offers many activities and new experiences for your child. Grades K – 4 are held at the Brewer Auditorium, while Grades 5 & 6 are held at the Brewer Community School.

Info: Our Adult Fall Volleyball Leagues runs from mid-September thru mid-November offering five different leagues or levels of play. League days and length of season may vary depending on the number of teams registered for each league. Due to time and space requirements, each league will have a limited number of teams, which will be accepted on a first paid – first entered basis. Tentative league nights are below.
Monday – Women’s (North & South Divisions)

Youth Karate: Instructor Gary West will lead participants through progressive classes introducing Goju Karate Do. Introductory classes are a great way to improve participants’ self confidence, self control and respect while having fun.
Adult Karate: Improve your self control, confidence, awareness and respect, all while getting into shape with Instructor Gary West.
Adult Fitness Class: This new program provides an energizing workout that is perfect for all fitness levels and will enhance your overall health and well being with aerobic and conditioning routines. Participants should bring an exercise mat with them.
Older Adult Exercise Class: Older adults who are looking to improve their strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness will enjoy this class for the socialization as well as the health benefits.
Adult Yoga: Join certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor Bunny Barclay. Classes are designed to improve strength, flexibility, and balance, and to increase the minds ability to focus and relax through self awareness. Class format will also include postures and guided relaxation/meditation. Participants should bring a yoga mat with them.
Senior Citizen’s Club: The Brewer Senior Citizen’s Club meets regularly on Thursdays throughout the year at the Brewer Auditorium in the Seniors Center. Guest speakers, pot lucks, weekly card games, and trips provide local seniors the opportunity to socialize and stay active. For more information, contact us at Parks and Rec at 207.989.5199.
Brewer Days: A three day community festival featuring fireworks, children’s carnival, pancake breakfast, musical entertainment, money grab, pony rides, giant water slide, free indoor skate, family street dance, car show, and presentation of Citizen and Business of the Year. The event is held the weekend following Labor Day with the majority of activities taking place in the auditorium complex. Children’s Yard Sale: The Parks & Recreation Department offers space in the Brewer Auditorium for those wishing to sell gently used children’s clothing and toys. The fall sale takes place in October and an additional sale is held in the spring. Lines form early for this favorite event for both shoppers and sellers.
