PUBLIC NOTICE 7/10/2013:
Due to efforts to reduce the FY 2014 Public Safety budget, the Brewer Police Department has been forced to reduce operating hours at our reception desk. Effective immediately, between noon and 4:00 PM. on Wednesdays and Fridays there will be no receptionist working.
The new hours are as follows:
Monday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Tuesday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Wednesday 8:00 AM to Noon
Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Friday 8:00 AM to Noon
Requests for concealed weapons permit applications, accident reports, and non-urgent business should be made during business hours when the receptionist is on duty.
Citizens that come to the Police Department for assistance when the front desk is not manned can use the telephone in the entry vestibule to contact a dispatcher, who will dispatch an officer to assist them.
